Living Space:
Cardigan Welsh Corgis are adaptable to living in apartments or houses, provided they have sufficient space to move around and are given regular exercise. They do not necessarily need a large backyard, but access to outdoor areas is beneficial.
Exercise:
Their energetic nature requires regular outings, including walks and playtime. A backyard is ideal but not necessary, as long as their exercise needs are met through regular outdoor activities.
Climate:
They are comfortable in a variety of climates but need protection from extreme temperatures, whether hot or cold. Moderate climates are generally ideal for this breed.
Grooming:
Cardigan Welsh Corgis have a double-layer coat that requires regular grooming to maintain its condition. Brushing should be more frequent during shedding seasons to manage their coat effectively.
Independence:
They can be left alone for a few hours comfortably, though they thrive in an environment where they have companionship. Leaving them alone for extended periods is not ideal due to their social nature.
